The staff was notably kind, and the location, conveniently close to my school, was a definite plus. The flat-screen TV with internet connectivity was a nice touch, adding to the overall comfort of the room. Housekeeping was satisfactory, however, the breakfast selection was somewhat lacking in variety. Wi-Fi connection was reliable and efficient, catering to my needs as a cultural anthropologist often working remotely. The absence of off-site car parking may be a drawback for some guests, but the 24-hour reception provided a sense of security. While Sao Joao may not exude luxury in every aspect, the reasonable pricing aligns well with the value offered.
